1800 MEMBER CELEBRATION UPDATE - A TRIP ON BLACKBEARDS 10-22-05 to 10-29-05 to the HIGHEST BIDDER!

To celebrate passing the 1800 member mark, a VERY generous benefactor has just donated a trip to SD.com to auction off for a combination of charities that we support!

The trip departs on 10/22/05 from Miami at 3:00 p.m., returning 6 days later (Friday 10/28 at 9:00 a.m.)

The trip costs $850 plus $55 port tax (already paid). The trip will go to the highest bidder in our first ever SD.com online auction!

Rules:

1. Anyone may bid on the trip
2. Please bid in increments of $50 or more
3. All proceeds will go to a combination of SD's charities with the donor permission
4. Winner is responsible for airfare to Miami so bidding will close 7 days prior to secure decent airfare on Oct 15th at 5pm Eastern Time.
5. All bids will be in this thread ONLY and each bidder must state the bid amount and new total with their bid included. (This allows us to clearly identify who bid when in the case of close bidding.)
6. The bid will close promptly at 5pm Eastern Time so that the winner has time to secure airfare to Miami if needed.

The best way to see what the trip is about is to go to their website www.blackbeard-cruises.com

Details:

1. Airfare is not included.

2. The individual should have a passport, although a picture ID with an original birth certificate would be an acceptable alternative.

3. The benefactor of the trip would need to talk to the individual who gets the trip to ensure they are all set to go and give Blackbeards their name (as opposed to theirs) and they would need to fill out a trip application form for Blackbeards (not subject to review, it is just an informational form for them).

4. The cost of the trip was $850 plus $55 port tax (already paid).

1. The opening bid will be $100 for Radio Flyer who is on the official books as being lucky member #1800. Congrats on being the highest bidder so far and please accept the opening bid as SD's gift to you. Please feel free to increase that bid, if you do you are only responsible for the amounts you bid over the $100 amount.

2. All bids are final so please ONLY bid if you can make the trip and are serious.

3. All proceeds will help our worthy charities!
