Lisa, have a happy birthday! Sorry I nearly missed it!
On a more serious note, I must let everyone know that Lisa is from the Port Arthur area, an area that was heavily damaged by Hurricane Rita, and her parents and siblings still live there. I have not spoken to or seen Lisa since the storm hit. Please keep her family in her thoughts and prayers.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful birthday greetings.
As Mitch said my family does live over in the Port Arthur/Nederland area. Everyone is OK and fortunately property damage was fairly minimal. Although it took them 1 1/2 days to evacuate and one night spent in their cars, they did evacuate safely and sought refuge at a relative's house, who ironically was on a cruise that left out of Galveston earlier in the week. I don't believe he was complaining. Afterall he did get to spend 3 extra days in Cancun. He returned home the following week to find 10 family members living in his house. We're just all fortunate that we had a place to go.
My parents are still trying to get their children's store opened again and right now they don't really know how long it will take. This is their only source of income but FEMA and the Red Cross are helping them out. Hopefully they will be back in business for Christmas.
Thanks for all your concern and prayers.
Lisa
