I am a technical diver

This tells me nothing about your qualifications.

my qualifacations include wreck penetration, planned stage decompression with multiple deco gasses, mixed gasses including helium to depths greater than 300fsw as well as closed circut rebreather using trimix.

This tells me a great deal about your qualifications. The term "technical diving" is not necessary to convey this information. If the term didn't exist, you'd say you were a wreck/mixed gas/closed circuit diver which would actually communicate information.

What is the point of having the designation when you have to add the qualifiers to get any meaning from the term. The qualifiers without the term "technical" do as well or better in communicating information than with it.
No single raindrop believes it is responsible for the flood.
