I'm on the xmas theme and I have to log onto the site everytime I come here. I haven't changed any of my internet settings. Any clue?

I'm not on the Christmas theme and I've had the same problem since the upgrade.

Interestingly enough, I do not have to log on at work, but at home, I have to log on every time I access the site.

What I find interesting is my PM's pop up before I log on so some part of it knows who I am.

I have the same problem. I just assumed it was due to the relocation of the SD files to the host www.tollysworld.com from www.singledivers.com. Any auto log-in cookie on your system wouldn't recognize the new location. If I'm right do I get a new holiday cookie? I love cookies!!

OK, now this is really odd. When I bring the site up, I'm not automatically logged on. At that point you can either log right on or click "log on" to go to the log on screen where you can tell the site "remember me." If I take the second option, I can access my PMs without logging on. That's really weird. If I click on "view new posts" at that point, I find I really am already logged on.

What is the first page you go to when you can't logon? What about when you are already logged in? That maybe what the difference is what what folks are seeing.

I still have to re-log in every time and it's getting to be real annoying. Anyone able to speak to this issue?

Also, since the "new look", there are many buttons I can't find (like append to a thread used to have a button at the bottom), I can't find where to start a thread within a forum, and can someone tell me what effect clicking on the "Quote" button does aside from the icon changing from a "+" to a "-"?

Oh yeah, and what about special characters that used to look good and now print out funny?

George is on first name basis with tech support! :P

I know he is working on this and several other issues. I can handle some of them....

I still have to re-log in every time and it's getting to be real annoying. Anyone able to speak to this issue?

George is working on this.

Also, since the "new look", there are many buttons I can't find (like append to a thread used to have a button at the bottom), I can't find where to start a thread within a forum, and can someone tell me what effect clicking on the "Quote" button does aside from the icon changing from a "+" to a "-"?

If you try to post a second post it will automatically append it to the first one...it won't let you do two posts in a row...it assumes you weren't done with the first one and adds the content for you.

I agree...can't figure out the value of the 'quote' button BUT if you click on REPLY* then it quotes the entire reply just like hitting QUOTE used to do in the older software version.

Oh yeah, and what about special characters that used to look good and now print out funny?

Apparently they had translation issues when converting but if you re-do them then they work out fine again.
