Reddy to start diving

The past few years, I've spent most of my free time with my son. All my friends told me that if they had it to do over again, they'd have spent more time with their kids before they reached school age. I won't have that regret. Now that he is school age, Dad needs to get a life again ;-)
I fell in love with SCUBA the first time I put a regulator in my mouth. Unfortunately, there's never seemed to be the time, finances or opportunity to dive very much. I'm hoping that becoming an active member in singledivers will change all that.
Other interests include shooting, skiing (snow/water), cycling, home remodeling, computers and invention.
I've read many of the profiles and topic threads. This sounds like a great group of people and the concept behind this web site is great. My hat is off to the genius who came up with it. It's so hard to get away from money centric commercialization now a-days.
I'm looking forward to meeting y'all. (wink, yes I am from Texas)

Smart- very smart waiting for your son to grow up a little. Sounds like you have your priorities in the right place. Now that you're a little more free, dive right in & get some diving in again. You can start with the Athens trip.....

Don't forget to take a look at our website at SingleDivers.com. We are constantly upgrading and would love to see you on one of our upcoming trips.
Again, welcome to our little place on the net where having fun is what it is all about.

But rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--"WOW--What a ride!"

Yeah I know: I've been branded a non-group person - doesn't play well with others. I am so upset. Let me know if you want to have some fun, without the drama - I'm good for that.
