Hello all, :)

The past few years, I've spent most of my free time with my son. All my friends told me that if they had it to do over again, they'd have spent more time with their kids before they reached school age. I won't have that regret. Now that he is school age, Dad needs to get a life again ;-)

I fell in love with SCUBA the first time I put a regulator in my mouth. Unfortunately, there's never seemed to be the time, finances or opportunity to dive very much. I'm hoping that becoming an active member in singledivers will change all that.

Other interests include shooting, skiing (snow/water), cycling, home remodeling, computers and invention.

I've read many of the profiles and topic threads. This sounds like a great group of people and the concept behind this web site is great. My hat is off to the genius who came up with it. It's so hard to get away from money centric commercialization now a-days.

I'm looking forward to meeting y'all. (wink, yes I am from Texas)

Brian

:hiya: Brian! Oh no! ANOTHER Texan? :teeth:
Smart- very smart waiting for your son to grow up a little. Sounds like you have your priorities in the right place. Now that you're a little more free, dive right in & get some diving in again. You can start with the Athens trip..... :)

Hey there Brian, welcome to the board. If you are looking for a few...hundred...dive buddies, then you've come to the right place! I hope you can come out to Athen's this coming weekend for one of our first get togethers. You'll have the chance to meet almost all of the Texans on the board, and some others who aren't from around here(but we won't hold that against them). Like you, we all have an addiction to this sport. You seem like a really neat person, and we are very happy to have you join us here. Have fun.

:) Brian...glad you stopped by and hope that you will call this home. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here that are ready and willing to help in anyway, all you have to is ask.

Don't forget to take a look at our website at SingleDivers.com. We are constantly upgrading and would love to see you on one of our upcoming trips.

Again, welcome to our little place on the net where having fun is what it is all about.
