Well I got a new laptop at work and I don't think the explorer is set up like the old desktop. Like when I go to singledivers.com I just can't click on the surface interval part and click on it to get in, it just sits there. I also noticed that on another board where they put up links I can't use them. Now on some items I can click on and go where they lead but not on everything.
I would be greatfull for any help

I would expect that popups are turned off and Explorer thinks the links are popups. If you click on tools\pop-up blocker\turn off pop-up blocker, you may fix this problem. You may also cause the system to allow a lot of pop-ups.
You could also tools\pop-up blocker\pop-up blocker settings and allow pop-ups for any site you want.
