What about an area dedicated just for info for others to use if they want to visit, and dive, to your area?
For example, a post would read somthing like:
City/area:
charters
dive sites
accommodation
non-diving highlights
Personal comments
for any info given, a web site and/or phone number should be included.
Useful travel information

Excellent idea.
No single raindrop believes it is responsible for the flood.

I like that idea as well! Perhaps I can get people to do that for future dive sites they'd like us to dive as a group as well!!!
I'd also add "Lenght of Dive Season" and "Best & Worst Months to dive" to that list!

Length of season????? Awwww come on girl it's 12 months a year.I like that idea as well! Perhaps I can get people to do that for future dive sites they'd like us to dive as a group as well!!!

OK, ok... perhaps not for everyone.
Average water temps would give a clue of what people can expect.
For instance right now in the St Lawrence it's in the 50s for the shore dives. Now at that temp, it's my lightweight woolies under my dry suit. For other's it's still their heavy weight.
As for "worst & best"... perhaps just caution notes. As that's a subjective opinion. eg Oct - Dec is hurricane season, you may get your dive cancelled, or have high seas (6' + waves).

Wow, DivingGal, I didn't realize the St. Lawrence had a hurricane season!
