Glad you had a grand time girl! What can I say... dry suits are ideal for our kind of water.

I will second the opinion on Discover Diving who took care of the hotel and tickets for the event. They did an excellent job.
Hey, Max, I wish that I could join you down there but I will be diving the Straits that weekend. Make sure that they get you into the Crushed Neoprene instead of the Standard. You will either curse me for saying that or thank me depending on your available funds, LOL. Remember to save some of that for our Northern get-together.
Heather... I look forward to diving with you again.

Working on it! You don't want to know the "extra mileage" charge on the loaner that I had over the weekend, LOL.Brian, the plane does look like a cub, but according to the web site it's a cessena. Must be a really old one as they don't make the square wings like that anymore and I think the wooden one is a chris craft (there are 4 wooden boats there somewhere!). Still baffled by the metal boat. No cleats??? It's called the Silver Comet. Hope the driving-lag has worn off!!
I'll be alright tomorrow morning. I was really dragging at work today, LOL.

My left sleeve flooded all three times (something about my wrist has a tunnel)
Heather, I have the same problem. I highly recommend smurf blue dry gloves. Can't flood your sleeve if you're not relying on a wrist seal. The extra money for drygloves is money well spent when you come back from every dive dry.
Sounds like you guys had a great time. I'll have to hit the DOG days when DUI comes around here.

I would recommend that as well. But she gave me an idea that may work. In order to find out, the drysuit would have to happen first. And seeing as how I would like to dive with her again, I am hoping that the trip fund isn't spent yet!My left sleeve flooded all three times (something about my wrist has a tunnel)

Thanks for the information, Heather. I hadn't gone through the website to that extent. I got some good photos of the plane as well.

Send them there photos!! Or at least post some of them up here so everyone can see!!
As for a dry suit, I just found out the the USCG Aux may issue me a dry suit of my own!! I have to get the details as we already know I would need a custom suit. And DUI makes their suits too!! Also don't know if I would be able to use it for pleasure diving. Even if it's orange and blue, if it's free them I'll go for it!! At least you'd be able to see me!
So when's the next trip???? Can I leave now?
