Hey guys, I just got in from our Happy Hour event. It was a blast! In fact I think the wench and few others may still be out at Mako's. Everyone seemed to love the venue, which is awesome! It's agreed that the next event will be there. The question is...which day is better for you all who plan on attending Dallas happy hour events in the future?
The restaurant prefers Tuesdays or Wednesdays, so which day works best for all of you? I'll put in the first vote for Wed. (I'll be starting summer classes on Tues. nights here in a few weeks).
Tonight was awesome, and thank you everyone for coming out. As for those who didn't make it....I'll kick you when I see you next!!!!!
Please, those of you who attended, let me know what you thought of the venue and the event in general.

Amber...you did an incredible job organizing the happy hour and were a wonderful hostess as well! Yes we were there for a good portion of the evening...TekDiver aka Marc joined us later and so the party continued!

Of course the angels were in full force and they were greeting new people and making everyone feel at home. Our newest angel in training Sandy was there looking gorgeous in work attire and she brought a very nice friend Lynn who will be at our June 11th Discover Scuba...yep...we have a possible new diver in our midst! Woo!! Hoo!!!

Carolyn who will be on our Bonaire trip made her first SD appearance as did PopDeep and his friend Mary-Jo! Even Cabana Boy was there! Welcome!!!! I'd like to give a very special thanks to Kim aka Fin Grabber and Sandy-Ke who both live on the far side of Ft. Worth and yet made it to our Happy Hour to say hi to Super Dave and to meet their new SD friends! I am truly amazed at how cool everyone is and thrilled we are all becoming such great friends!

Mark No Pressure was there despite leaving for Ireland Thursday for a couple of weeks...but guess who took SD attire for the DM to wear when he dives in Ireland as well as cards???? Yep when we see a surge of new members coming from Ireland we'll know that Mark has been visiting the pubs...er...I mean....dive shops in the homeland!!!

We had a surprise visit from the Dominos....we had Domino22 there who was leaving for Utila at 5:30am.....gosh I wish I was as organized as him...I would have been packing while he was partying with us! And we had Domino11111....got to figure out what the whole Domino thing has to do with diving???? Or is that just the chain reaction that happens when people are having a good time with Single Divers????

Dejah came for a little while even though she HAD to be other places but she said Dave needed another Texas Kiss so she volunteered to do it...yes I know...its a dirty job but someone needs to do it!!! LOL!!

Gosh there were so many other folks there...SunLover, Michael aka "Charlie" etc. that I couldn't keep up with them all!

Hope to see you ALL at the next one...and count me in for any day...Tuesday or Wednesday! WW

Also as WW mentioned I unforunately wasn't able to stay long last night, but I did make some arrangements to meet up with some for dinner tonight in Addision.. so if anyone would like to join us please PM me, were going to meet at 6:30pm tonight.

Wednesdays are better for me - but will make it when I can whatever day is chosen! I had a great time. Kamala is so great to be around - so full of excitement - and makes everyone else feel the same way - You guys always make me feel welcome and I appreciate that!!!! I am glad you got a male for the Roatan trip!!!! He was like a kid at Christmas time after he talked to you today - too funny. He's probably already counting the days!!!

Since I play soccer most Wednesdays, Tuesday is better for me, though there would be some Wednesdays I could make because we don't play at the same time every week...oh well, I'd just have to play it by ear!

Just returned to Boise and the 4th day of rain. My lawn is a jungle! Anyway wanted to thank everybody who showed up and for the work Amber did to set everything up. I had a great time.
It was great seeing everyone and I hope to see you again soon (maybe Roatan???).
