On my flight to Miami I borrowed Dan MacKay's book Dress for Success.Overall I'd give it a 8/10 as it was clear,easy to read,photos that helped and in my mind achived what it set out to do.
It is more of an intro to DIR gear and the reasons behind it.Using automotive books as an example,its on par with a good general tune up guide and not ment to be an engine rebuild manual.Even the non-DIR diver I belive would be able to get something out of the book.An example would be the information on drysuits and drysuit underwear.
Along with being intrested in what others think does anyone have any books(fiction or non fiction)diving related that they'd recomand?

Just the obvious books that you probably have already have read..."The Last Dive", "Deep Descent", and "Shadow Divers. Of the three I prefer "The Last Dive" as it's just a better written book.

If you're interested in Oceanography/Marine Biology there is an awsome book, "The Blue Planet: Seas of Life" that I would recommend. It's kind of like a large coffee table book/great photo's but at 400 pages it also contains the equilivent text/info of a college intro to Oceanography/Marine Biology.
