1. I am an orphan, have pity, send money
2. If you take me, I'll carry your bags, be your DM tank sherpa and help scout good sites
3. My computer is portable, so I can draft your trip report
4. I am an expert loser at a long list of bar games - boost your ego - beat me at darts!
5. Any tall tales you publish after the fact I will agree with and embellish with longer, bigger, deeper etc.
I am SO envious.

Would you like cheese with that? Sympathy can be found in the dictionary. Gut it out. Write a "tell all" when you return and we'll try to act sincere about how tough your flight was.I have 20 hrs flight time...6 hours of layovers...That is if a plane is not late ....Although.....12 days of diving....This Sunday....first dive BLUE CORNER I CANNOT WAIT!!!!

Sympathy can be found in the dictionary.
indeed, and it is listed between sh1t and syphilis.
yeah, those hours on the plane realy blow, but maybe you'll get lucky on the flight from Guam to Palau and have a bunch of Aussies on the flight with ya.

Brad,
It was not a boring flight at all....Prior to take off the Capitan welcomed The Iwo Jima reunion and the USMC on board!
Sitting in front of me was General Haynes....his men hosted the flag at Iwo Jima....sitting in the center isle General Snowden and in back of me was Col. Warren Wiedhaln...all fought at Iwo Jima.....next to me was Col. John Ripley....Was commander in USMC special forces and the Royal Marines. Now he is Director of Marine Corps Historical center.
I practally spent the whole flight talking to Colonel Ripley.....I am a history nut...Wow humbled amoungst these great Americans!
There were over 100 Marines from WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Iraq.
I could not of asked for a better flight!
About the diving a tropical depression hanging around. Unusal for this time of the year....Cloudy, wet and windy...but once you are in the water...great to be in Palau

Kamala....maybe I did one better...Col. Wiedhain has a Military tour business...He has just turned over to his son.....He is looking to possibility of expanding the business beyond the land tout business....He said his son is looking at different opportunities....Perhaps networking with a dive travel business to specialize in diving in NC, Truk, Palau...anywhere there were major historical battles.
Know anyone who might be interested?
Sun is shinning.....On my way to Blue corner and the Helmit wreck....Have fun all
WHAT PART OF INTERESTED DO YOU NEED ME TO BE!!! The first part...the last part...all the parts in between!!!
In other words...YES I know someone interested and that someone would be ME!!!!

When I get back Col. Wiedhain gave me his personal e-mail to discuss networking with his company....I will further discussions regarding...networking with his company...Google him and see how many pages he is mentioned in.
Regarding the diving yeaterday.....dis the Chuyo Maru...sank in March 30, 1945. Then off to the Blue Corner...hit a major squal...heavey rain and wind....jumped in the water ASAP.....firts time little or no current....But saw about a dozen of the largest Bump head Parrot fish...a school of about 100 moorish idols, about 1/2 dz giant Travellys, sharks and a couple of the big Napolean Wrasses feeding on the same thing....really cool....then turtles frees swimming eels....VERY GOOD DIVE!!!! Then off to Negbus wall saw about a dz of schooling baby reef sharks. Baby eagle rays...great corals....bad weather....great diving.
Today clear no wind and on my way to Devilfish city!!
