That might be the problem... her family could be getting together for a surface excursion... Do Mer-people doing surface excursion have to judge there time and get back in the water slowly to avoid getting bent? :o

Dear Sandy
I think I killed your Rig dive thread :welcome:

I hope those dates are still available. I'm really looking forward to diving off the boat into the ocean and checking out those Rigs. I have heard some really cool stuff about diving The Rigs!

cant wait
Please Advise

AS far as I know the dives are still going. I can't wait myself... If you want more houston diving we go atleast once a month in the little lakes. Although I can't see you coming down to houston for a dive in TL. :hiya: I'll also be posting a buddy request for lake travis (july 1, or 2) soon...

Ultra Dive raised their prices considerably. We may need to go with a different operator to get a better price, but it would probably mean a smaller boat and going in two different groups of 4 people each. Still working on it.

I don't know what their prices have been raised to, or from for that matter... but the increased cost of fuel and oil has really affected the cost of boat operation. Everything else goes up too, insurance, storage fees, etc.

OAN... I was out to the rigs yesterday, and we had minimal current, vis about 80' or so down to about 60-80 feet... Lots of fish and other creatures there, seas 1-2 feet... a great trip!

Don't give up... there's great dives there...
