Mitch

the easy answer is that sniperdiver is very good at working the kinks out of muscles(does that clear it ip), and the wench ate the whole birthday cake that was brought to her.

Oh, yes, I followed. In fact, I knew it was that before I posted.

This was just a little stab at humor (abeit a little wacky and a tad off-color).

the 'honeymoon' couple came to share our Happy Hour with Capn Jack and BJ his better half in tow!!! The pictures were awesome and I see more new divers in the future! :cool2:

Elliot & Emily and their new matching tattoos were honored to attend, delighted to share their pictures (at least the "PG" rated set) thanks to everyone for making them feel welcome.

I was disappointed but also delighted to learn Elliot did not take my advice and sneak in a dive at Playa. Boy has his priorities right. I'll just have to do my own recce.

Had to cut out early to make it back to CSSP for a Rescue class followed by part two of our 10 student open water class from the high school. These kids were a delight to dive with, they've been taking the course all semester, so the open water and "graduation" was an event they were very excited about.

We also finished up 4 "do-over" open water divers that have been working since last fall to get through. It was great to see them persevere. Anyone who wants to talk to me about rubber-stamping, please PM me, and I'll be happy to set the record straight.

A long day, and a long weekend, but very satisfying.

Thanks again for the hospitality and good times at HH.

Editorial Comment: the better half, aka "She Who Must Be Obeyed" goes by tj (note, lower case) not "BJ" - probably WW's getting freudian.

No aquarium, no tank in a marine land, however spacious it may be, can begin to duplicate the conditions of the sea. And no dolphin who inhabits one of those aquariums or one of those marine lands can be considered normal.

What a BLAST :) The HH in Dallas was great. I had a chance to hang with my dive buddy Mannie Jr. doing another Deco stop. He has realy come full tilt into this Tech Diving. Thanks, to Fingrabber for the ride to the party. I think the Wench and her both enjoyed getting a two hour head start on the festivities. I met some new friends and I am looking forward to diving NC with them. I enjoyed my first trip to the Bahamas so much I have signed up for two more (NC and Grenada which is coming to a SD posting soon!). Thanks to everyone in Dallas for rolling out the welcome carpet and having a great :P party for the Wench.

Ah yes...the Wenches b-day party!!

at least this year, she didn't have to blow out 72 candles in one breath like she did last year

this happy hour was a blast! I really liked getting there 2 hours early and getting our spot secured in the bar area. Platyman couldn't believe his eyes when he walked in and saw me, WW and OTWdiver already enjoying ourselves! And what fun it was, too. I got to see all my usual friends in DFW plus meeting Bill and seeing Manny Jr in doubles for the first time

now, when will Manny Jr be going to sidemount or CCR??? Only time and funds can tell :welcome:

And, we get to do another one on the 24th!

HH was great!!!! Top 10 fun things that happened:

10- making 2 women Moan with joy.(you know who you are.......)
9- Seeing great friends.
8- Trading stories with platy and twinklz about Rescue class
7- Recieving a massage from WW!
6- Watching Dan give live updates right from HH!
5- Wishing WW a happy B-day and seeing her eat the WHOLE THING!
4- seeing the b-day girl with a good Buzz!
3- watching adults place stuffed animals in compromising positions!!!
2- meeting our out of town guest.
1- hearing that Tina got pulled over on her way home, and spending 30 minutes talking to the DPS Trooper about Diving!

Everything she ever wanted to know about local diving in 30 minutes or less; but I did leave out the part about the two women moaning at happy hour. And I didn't even get a ticket for the license light bulb that wasn't really out in the first place! I think she liked my green eyes! :P
