I'm also from Houston and heard about this site at SeaSpace - must have been a good marketing campaign :-)
Looking forward to getting to know all of the other single/buddyless divers out there!

Welcome to the fun bunch!

Yeah I know: I've been branded a non-group person - doesn't play well with others. I am so upset. Let me know if you want to have some fun, without the drama - I'm good for that.

Texas must be the center of the diving universe... or at least well within the sphere of WW's influence! Hope you're reading WW because I think we should promote SD right here in good old soCal at the world-famous Catalina Casino Point Dive Park. We get divers from all over the world here... spent a fair bit of time Sunday with a German diver who was doing his first dip into a kelp forest. Also a number of Japanese divers, a few from South America, and some from as far away as Hollywierd (not speaking geographically here if you get my drift).
Now if SD can provide poster-sized images of the SD logo that we could print and put up in the dive park (and parks everywhere), I'd be happy to do a little promoting... and, hopefully a little self-promoting as it will reinforce the fact that I am available! Ulterior motives are a great incentive to such promotions.
What do you think WW?

It does looks like going to SeaSpace was a good marketing campaign as it looks like a lot of people, including yours truly, have found out about this site there.
