and Kamala's just trying to deflect.
Remember, I attended a Happy Hour with them a few months back. No clues needed. I actually got to have more than 5 minutes of SniperDiver's attention; usually WW gets the balance, but at that Happy Hour she was just a little pre-occupied with Mr. Bill.
That's my guess and I'm sticking to it!

Bill has been on a fair number of SD trips of late
Kamala did her technical training with Bill in SC
There were rumors she was seeing someone on the east cost.
Wonder if she will be moving back to the Carolnias?

My guess would be Kamala and Bill.

I suspect you are correct. An additional clue would be the complexity of the underwater proposal; it takes a fair amount of preplanning and gathering of resources to pull something like that off -- I believe Bill would have those at his disposal, and still be able to keep everything on the down low.

Notice that Kamala's second clue is a quote from someone else? It's called 'mis-direction', as in "watch my other hand..." while the first one does the magic (or gets the ring). Hmmm. Now just *how* many of the ladies on the trip have another lady friend on the same trip?
Even if I totally blew it, congrats to the happy couple! Big grins all around!

So, in case anyone is still guessing, I am stating for the record that it wasn't me getting married.
But, I suggest before you make your final call, you might want to ask Orcaman (Larry) how Kamla's monkey almost caused him to miss the whole event.

It doesn't take that much skill and luck! On the Aqua Cat in the Bahamas two weeks ago an Irish couple got engaged underwater. She was caught totally by surprise! All you gotta do is keep the number of people involved very low (preferably ONE) and it's easier to keep a secret. BTW, the new Mrs-to-be looked very happy!
Best of luck to BOTH wet-behind-the-ears couples!
Gee, I guess this drops TWO of our crew out of the Twister competitions!

Unfortunately we were blown out on sunday but we did get some interesting "wreck diving" done in the parking lot after heavy rains. We did a giant stride off the balcony of the "bunk house " and did a swim through the van..using a wreck reel for safety of course
This was a fabulous trip with great people and ALOT of laughter!!! The "bunkhouse girls" were so much fun and I will look forward to our next dive trip together...We came up with a new and very unique way to sling..umm.. pass out the infamous SD.COM trip t-shirts at the also infamous SD barbeque..which as usual was delicious.. BTW..WW is a great cook...
As for LARRY AND THE MONKEY...well...we think mandrake is really mandy..there are pictures but I believe Larry is holding them captive...possibly he will reveal them soon

As we all know, the diving community is quite small and I look forward to crossing paths with each and every one of the divers from this past weekend. Special thanks to Kamala for her attention to details and making this weekend happen. Hope to see you all soon back on the Carolina coast.

The crew on this trip was simply amazing. Being a boat capt I know the tremendous amount of work required BEHIND THE SCENES to keep a boat running in top shape and an operation like this one sailing smoothly so that customers have a great time! This crew started well earlier than our stated 6:15am on the boat and worked far longer after our return to ensure that all systems were go. And when they had a bit of difficulty keeping one of the electrical systems functioning properly, they called in backup support and so were late to the BBQ. But most of them joined us late however the SD crowd was still in full swing so the party just got better upon their arrival.
I would dive with this crew again and my special thnks to the Captains for finding a way to get the needed 'juice' for the trip surprise. As for the guess that I was behind the underwater sound system, Desert_Diver is right. They are fairly easy to do but in this case I did do the sound system for the lucky couple and I was thrilled to make that contribution to the project! Oh and I did get to videotape Larry! And the 'quiet' shy guy from Texas TRULY came out of his shell for this event. He is quite the romantic and this trip proved it. Not everything is as simple at it might appear.
However as Netmage says...more clues will be in the pictures being posted soon. (Due to the blowout on Sunday the gang had internet access but since all were traveling on Monday, the access was gone. Be looking for more clues today as people return from the trip.)

Jim, I think you and your crew did a wonderful job and no worries about the boat issues. It was out of your hands and that stuff happens. I'm glad you guys at least got a chance to join us for some food and beer and you guys definitely made the trip enjoyable for everyone. I just hope that the spankings or the picture with the "shirt delivery system" didn't get you in too much trouble with Sandy
This trip has definitely left me with some good memories, and who knows, maybe a bit more.
