...in introducing myself . After all, I am new to the forums and am just now coming to introduce myself.
My name is Tomi, and I live in the PacNW (Portland area). I'm not the cold water diving type, namely because cold water makes my fingers hurt.
This just means that I have to travel in order to dive. I got certified in 2016 (in 45 degree water), and I have taken many a diving vacay alone ever since. But, I'm never alone in the world of diving, and I've had the opportunity to meet some amazing people along the way. Diving has given me much in the self-development realm that it has positively carried into other aspects of my personal and professional life.
I found singledivers.com when I was ended up on one of their boats during the Roatan Round-up last fall. What a fantastically wonderful group of people! In fact, having met this group has made me consider further dive travel through singledivers.com, but first, I need to get through DM training and the PADI IDC. That, well, and the world needs to get back to travel.
I like piña coladas, getting caught in the rain...oh, wait, this is not the correct forum.
Actually, what I do like are punny jokes, and I am working on my repertoire for divemaster. Yeah...puns...like:
What do you call DCS in a German diver?
