Haha that was funny thank you for that! I do a lot of diving at Dutch Springs and try to go at least once a week with my Dad. If anyone needs a buddy let me know and we'd be happy to dive with you! We are not "hero divers" and stay around 50 feet because I can not handle the cold right now much deeper haha! I love the dive community and it would be great to meet some divers my age 20-25!

Ahem! At first I thought the title said "21 females new to Singledivers from NJ" and I started to pack! Well dear, I'm w/in your age bracket, I'm 25 with 28 years experience! My charm and charisma will keep you warm at any depth. :D :P

Thanks for lookin out for me ;-) haha

I'm sorry, but I'm out for this weekend. Our unit got called out to do a search on Sat.

Here's what details I can talk about...

7/3 two adult males were caught on camera walking towards a international insurance companies headquarters with a small white box. They walked out of range of the camera. About 40 mins later, they reappeared walking away from the building but without the box.

Local searches of the grounds didn't turn up the box. Since there is a huge holding basin that they were near, they requested a complete search of the basin. This is a water basin, about 8-10 foot deep filled with duck poop, fertilzer, a host of other chemicals, and who KNOWS what was in this box.

And yes, I'm the first diver to go in! :cheerleader:

It's not everyday you can go play in zero viz, duck poop filled, chemical laden water, looking for something that may or may not go boom! :cheerleader:

Tough duty Moose. Does the DIR handbook cover that S*&$%t (literally speaking)? If it will make you feel better, I will go to the bottom and put my face in the mud at DS this weekend. :cheerleader:

I'm not too sure about DIR, but I'm sure PADI would develop a course if the demand was high enough—PADI Underwater UXO Diver. But you’ll need to take the follow-on course to learn what to do about it. :cheerleader:

Have a safe dive…things that go boom are not too friendly.

Its not that PADI will write a course as an individual instructor writes a course when he sees an oportunity. That being said, do ya want one MOOSE.

Sat & Sun be working on AOW and Nitrox so far. I'm sure we could squeeze something else in if someone wanted to do it. Oh yeah we'll be finishing up a Night Specialty Sat night.
