Internet Access and Boat Contact Numbers:

We have no internet access on the boat sorry :D Here are some phone numbers: On the Saturdays while the boat is in port this number will reach the boat cell phone: 501-623-4376 (no need to dial the 501 if calling from within Belize), While the boat is away from the port, the boat can be reached on the sat phone 011-874-762-103-563 (very expensive - $6.00 per minute on the boat end and then whatever the other ends’ provider charges them. If no one answers the sat phone, they can fax to the sat fax (again very expensive) and ask the guest to call them.

Ski season ends in April, I've always wanted to go to Belize and I totally love liveaboards.

You bet I'm going :wavey:

Deposit is on it's way.

I'll also want to add on Nitrox and may be interested in the land tour on the 28th. As long as there is someplace safe to leave luggage. I've heard the crime rate in Belize is pretty bad. Isn't there a rain forest or someplace that you can see jaguars?

Also based on some research I've been doing on the boat I would like to find out what it takes to get one of the upper level rooms. I really don't want to be in the lower rooms.

Have you been on the Pilot before? Upper deck means you hear the pitter patter of big feet, people dragging those plastic chairs on the sun deck and maybe some giggling from the hot tub! Best rooms are lower deck mid ship so you don't hear the anchor or compressors. Have a good trip!

OK, I decided I needed a little more time in Belize City, so I changed my flight to BZE to the morning flight. Here's my flight info
4/20 (Fri) CO1627 from IAH departs 9:00 AM and arrives in BZE at 10:30 AM
4/28 (Sat) CO1650 from BZE departs 11:00 AM and arrives in IAH at 2:33 PM

I'm putting a deposit in the mail today.
Sign me up for Nitrox. Are there going to be any discounts or prizes for Nitrox? (hint)
Can't wait to get my feet wet. :-D It's been a long dry spell.

Sign me up for Nitrox. Are there going to be any discounts or prizes for Nitrox? (hint)
Can't wait to get my feet wet. :) It's been a long dry spell.

Hey girl! GREAT to see you on the trip! Everyone will have so much fun...er I mean YOU will have so much fun!

Naw...actually both statements are true! EVERYONE has a great time when Stingray1 is on a trip! She is awesome! And she ALWAYS has fun no matter where she is or what she is doing! :-D

Ahem...and now back to your question...

The nitrox is limited to the first 10 people paid on the trip so there are no discounts. If you aren't one of the 10 and you REALLY want nitrox the boat can sometimes pump more but they can't guarantee it.

So instead of a nitrox special...we have instead gotten a better deal and that is $200 off in trip pricing which is the same money but applies to everyone!

Hey Kamala,

Had a question about refreshments. I was looking at the Nekton web site and noticed something about alcohol must be brought on and can't be bought on the boat. Is this mixers or beer or both?
Also they had a listing for a hotel/casino with a affiliate discount with Nekton. Is this only for arrival and departure days or muliti day before/after the cruise?

Thanks,
SD
