Is there any information on trip options before or after this trip? What is the best place to fly to get flights to Sorong - Jakarta?

What are the embarkation and disembarkation points?

Is this the correct place for a premier  member to ask a question?

Hello Drew and yes this is the appropriate place to ask questions for the Raj Ampat 2019 trip. Fearless Leader Kamala aka WreckWench is currently in Roatan with another group from the club - but here in the same Raj Ampat Trip Forum is topic "#1 TRIP DETAILS : Raja Ampat Aboard Dive Damai II Jan 24 - Feb 03, 2019" with lots of details about the trip. We suggest you check out this topic with emphasis on sections titled:

Travel & Transfer Details:

and

Diving & Itinerary:

If you still have questions please feel free to reply here. We hope you decide to join The Wench and yet another great group of divers on this VERY popular SingleDIvers.com trip!

I have checked for two different Raj Ampat trips and find no embarkation port or disembarkation point details.

Itinerary info is likewise absent.

Sorong is the normal port. Waiting to find out if that will change. I have tight connections. I fly Seattle to Bali on EVA air and will spend 2 days there. Then fly Garuda to Sorong. On the way back I have an early flight in Sorong on Garuda to Jakarta and EVA to Seattle. Booked through South Pacific Travel. I would like to know what hotel in Bali to book to stay with the group. What hotel are people staying at in October trip? I cant get into that thread.

From what I gleam from recent posts on that trip, the hotel has not been selected for the Oct trip.  Kamala has two more weeks before she returns.  You can draw your own conclusions on how to proceed from that.

On Tom's trip through Bali we stayed here:

https://www.tripadvi...ngbai_Bali.html

Granted that was almost 10yrs ago.  You may want to view some of the older Raja Ampat trips and see if anything is published there to indicate a trend.  Sorry, I am not going on this trip so my involvement is minimal this time.

Tom said he liked the location of the first hotel in Denpasar better. Do you recall which hotel that was? We are flying in and out (2 day stay) so nearer to airport and activity may be better. Thanks!

The hotel in Denpasar was on the way back and for only one night as I remember.  We stayed in the one I sent earlier on the front end for about 3 days.  I do not remember the name of the one in Denpasar but it was very nice.  It was nearly 10yrs ago so his memory and my memory are both probably faulty.  Sorry, can't help more.
