:wavey: Thanks Kamala for the extra bonus of being Active Duty. We are very fortunate to be living in the greatest country on earth and able to help out our less fortunate neighbors every once in a while. That being said, the two things I miss the most are diving and dive buddies of the angel variety!

Can't wait to blow bubbles again! Take care, God Bless and see you on the flip side!

Kamala, You are the best. :wavey:
I was out on Mothers Day at the dive shop on Ft. Lewis. Not a lot of customers but I did let the shop crew know about us. They were very interested and I left them with several cards. Hope to see many new faces from the base.
We have to let our military know that we love and appreciated them.

Yes we do!!! As well as all men and women who fight for the same freedoms! Although our members are primarily based in the US...we value and respect and honor the courage and strength of all military in the world that fight side by side with us.

So this applies to all countries that are our friends...Canada, England, etc. :wavey:

I'm retired 5th SF. I like your attitude. Mine, towards some americans, has deminished in the 10 years I've retired. Lot's of "lack of honor" out here.

But, you put it well. Maybe your note will force me to see more of the positives.

Lighter note: I wondered if the Gulf was safe to dive? Has anybody (besides the scuba teams in SF and Seals) done this for recreation? I didn't pay attention in KU when I was last there in '94.

Thanks Kamala, only been on here a couple of days and have already found a lot of good information and a LOT of entertainment. Thanks for the great site and diversion from the drudge of... another 11 months stuck in the dust bowl.

Will send you a note about upcoming NC dives and look forward to meeting others on the forum.

I am in UAE. If you get any RNR locally (Dubai or Abu Dhabi) and want to dive in Musandam just let me know and I can put you in touch with my dive crowd. There is also a Kabul dive club run by SD member JohnEric although I havn't seen him active on the site for a while. You shoud send him a PM. Stay safe!
