DEMA is the dive industries annual trade show that is being held in Orlando this year. This show is the meeting of all of the manufactures, training organization, and businesses.

Im planning on going to the show but was wondering who else was going as its getting close to time and needing to book travel and hotel soon.

While I normally attend DEMA every year, since it is in November this year I think I am passing and heading to the islands a couple weeks later for Thanksgiving.

I am still just waiting to get authorization to get the time off from work. Once that is approved, I will go. Likely, I will be there only for one or two days.

I just got wind of this yesterday and am sending in my membership application today. I'll be there.

I will be there and would love to meet any other SDer's who plan to attend. Usually we do a Happy Hour or some SD get together which will be great to do again this year!

Anyone else planning to attend? You do need to be a member of the trade or a DM/Instructor to attend. SD can sponsor several people so if you zre interested let us know and we'll work with you on that! -ww

Hey there! Diversitea will be exhibiting at DEMA in Booth 1162 . We are right in the middle of the Show floor near Henderson and Body Glove 2... All are welcome to stop by and try some Diversitea! We'll be serving it and showing off our AMAZING Jeweled Teapot! It's a Diversitea teapot that is encrusted with pearls, beads and many other beautiful objects. You have to see it to believe it!

I would love to get together with the other SD members who will be attending.

I got a good deal at the Howard Johnson Suites 9956 Hawaiian Ct. About 1 1/2 blocks from the Convention site. I got a suite w/2 dbl beds and a sofabed for under $100 - the cheap deals may be gone by now, but you can try!

according to the dema site there are rooms still available at the less priced places listed on the registration form for the show. If someone has a inroad to some good deals let me know as any help would be appreaciated.

The reason I picked that hotel is that I have to haul ice around and it's a hassle on the DEMA buses! Also, traffic on International can get pretty crazy, and I need to be there early, as well as late. The Rosen was the best deal, but sold out quickly!

Just check a map of the area, so you don't end up 3 miles away!

I finally got things squared away at work. I plan to be at DEMA for at least Friday, 11/10. If I can, I will try to be there the day before. I should know what is going on by the end of this week.
