It has always been my philosophy that when you get in the water you become part of the food chain.[/size]

I can't remember which dive boat I saw it on but next to the ladder it said; "If you can read this you are no longer at the top of the food chain" :teeth: :thankyou:

I love it. On the bottom of my fins I have "Shark Bait." It's partly a joke, but also it makes the point about where I am on the food chain when I dive!!!

That's usually a choice. We are smarter than sharks, so when we drop off the top spot, it's usually because we weren't thinking. I choose to remain the apex predator.

That's why Walter doesn't carry a dive knife ... he carries a sushi knife!

There was an earlier article about a man playing with a nurse shark that had his lips bitten off. He thought it would be cute to manhandle and kiss the female shark. Guess she showed him a thing or two. :lmao:

I read the article, I don't remember any mention of the shark's gender.

Here is an update to the original story.... I'm glad to see they are doing something to help protect the eels and stingrays in the area.
