finGrabber, I've been looking at flights a bit and I haven't been able to find anything that doesn't require me to overnight somewhere on the flight down. Is there anything you can find? I'm looking at departing from El Paso (ELP) or Midland (MAF i think?). Just trying to figure out if I would need to take friday off as well. Thanks.

I was looking at AA's website. I don't see anything from El Paso that wouldn't require an overnight somewhere...I did find one from Midland that leaves there at 635am, with connections thru DFW and SJU

Thanks Kim. I'll probably be able to make a firm commitment once I get back from a work trip in a couple of weeks. Since the drive to Midland or ELP is a couple of hours I was hoping to avoid a middle of the night start. I'll have to see what else I might be able to do for a departure.

Hey Kelly...if one of the routings lets you come to Dallas and you are on the same flight as myself or anyone else going...I'm sure we can find a place for you to crash! I usually have fingrabber stay over with me but we could always try to squeeze in one more...and I know we have several other peeps from DFW going so when they see this I'm sure they will offer as well!

Looks like we can do a 10 day or 9 day...the extra days will be hotel and breakfast only and we'll soon have some pricing for each individual extra day so you can create your own pkg!

Sure you get to choose your roommate if you bring them! AND they agree! Otherwise Kim and I choose them.

Progress Payments:

Immediately to Hold Spot: $250 Deposit
Feb 9, 2007: $250
Mar 9, 2007: $250
Apr 9, 2007: $212 Balance of trip payment. (If doing 9 day package your final payment is $353)

Yes SO is available. We are awaiting the price this morning!

The resort is called True Blue Bay because it sits on a beautiful bay. The dive op has 2 or 3 locations. The boats are located at True Blue Bay where we are staying. They have another shop on Grand Anse Beach that we could shore dive at but they have so much sand that you'd mostly see rays and small stuff...not a lot of reef structure.

They have a number of boats so we can allow divers of different styles and skills to dive together or just mix up the group. Either way it will be great!

AND they have a tremendous wreck you can either DIVE ON or DIVE BY and then end up on a reef to finish your dive. Either way is really cool. The wreck is world famous...its called the Bianca C!
