Oh cool. Black t-shirts are slimming. Actually, I'll go anywhere they need me. One year I worked the silent auction table. I don't know if they have it again. I was supposed to work Ocean Pals but they kept moving me around. At that time, I had volunteered on my own, not through SD. I think it was 2005. Maybe before I became a member? The only time I can't volunteer is Sunday am because I registered for a seminar.
Keep Tolly in line? I can't even keep my teen in line.

Yes, Heidi would do much better. In fact, I might borrow her to do some attitude adjustments in my house.

I plan on going to the BTS show on Sat and Sunday (barring any kiddie emergencies). Regarding being an official volunteer, it is a little hard to predict when I will be there, as the kids mess up my best plans at the last minute.


I was just planning on going to the show... should I do anything else?

You know, I was just thinking, a good thing BTS wasn't this weekend. With the ice and snow storm we had yesterday it would have been a disaster at the airports, not to mention attendance yesterday and this morning.

Interesting. Up until several years ago, BTS used to be held on the third weekend of March. Then, one year we were displaced by a basketball tournament, and we went to the fourth weekend, and stuck with it. Karma.

Back in the 80's, we'd held it in April, but we found that all to often the show coencided with the first 70-80 degree weekend of the season, so people who weren't committed found something else to do.

I didn't realize the show was that old. I only started going a couple of years ago, and I missed last year because I was in Thailand.

It's BTS's 31st year.

Sure...why don't you take any time you have to donate and help us at the SD booth! We really need to have volunateers at the booth to tell people about SD and all the great prizes we'll have to give away this year!
