Just because the water's cold...

I hail from the cold waters of Washington, but trust me, my blood is just as warm as yours, and I dream of finding a diving queen to share my adventurous life with.
I was certified in July 2001 in Monterey, CA. Since then, my diving has only led me to colder and colder climes, both here in the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands, where I dive frequently, and up north into Canada from time to time, with the occaisional trip back down to the cold waters of Monterey thrown in just to spice things up a bit.
I'm rapidly approaching 200 dives. I've taken a few classes too, including DAN O2 provider, PADI Rescue and Nitrox, and DIR-F through GUE. While I somehow slipped through the system without getting an AOW cert, my logbook is filled with all the things PADI likes to call advanced, like boat dives, drift dives, deep dives, scooter dives, night dives, etc. My theory is, no plastic card gives you skills, and no diver should ever stop learning. My future goals include technical and cave diving.
I look forward to meeting all you single divers ( especially you ladies out there ) ( or at least ONE of you, anyway ) both here online, and maybe on a future trip to some far off tropical destination...

Oh now you got me busting a gut cuz now I can add "Wreck Wrench" to my collection of names in addition to "Wreck Wench"!!! Just call me "Tool Time Tammy"!!!Wreck Wrench tried to get me signed up recently. Unfortunately, I had just spent my money on a six day liveaboard cruise to ( yep, you guessed it ) British Columbia.... Maybe next trip, eh?
So what part of WA do you live? I used to live near the Eastern part of the State and in several places! As for getting you on a trip....you REALLY should have been on the Cozy trip...we had several 'cupid connections' and a whole lot of new friends made! But don't worry....we've got Bonaire in June and several warm water trips to the GraveYard of the Atlantic where you can really use some of the those diving skills of yours not to mention some other fun and exciting places in the near future!
The purpose of this board is to promote DIVING!!! And all of out diving will be fun, exciting and value based destinations! Ok so maybe we throw in an extravegant destination or two but for the most part...we are offering our members great discounts on great dive vacations! Glad you've joined us...can't wait to meet you on a trip in person!

I'm glad you made it here. Welcome! You've added to the atmosphere at the Singles Bar and I know you can do the same here.
As for AOW, it's usually a waste of time anyway. Don't sweat that one.

I'll just slip this in............Walter, I just have to say I had an awesome expeirence at my AOW dives. Of course I was the only AOW student with a class of rescue divers. I got to do all sorts of awsome stuff as a test dummie! hiding underwater getting DCS and just being rescued over and over and over. LOL. It really was fun and a great expeirence.
Anyway Erin, I would love to dive the San Jauns. I have some friends who have a place on the Sound and just bout a boat. Unfortunatly they don't dive but said they would sure take me out to do so. I'll should be heading up there sometime this year (if everyone quits planning trips!) maybe we could get out and break their boat in.
