The Long Beach SCUBA Show is the largest one in the western states. I've been attending it for years and am finally getting around to submitting a few videos for the continuous film festival.

You can find out more about it at:

But not LAST year when I was there! :P

And now that they have changed the date to coincide with the old SeaSpace dates, I committed to going to my cousin's wedding in the DC area and not sure I can make the show! Plus its my birthday weekend!

I really wanted to be there, but went to Florida to be with my Dad who was dying. I'm glad they've changed the dates back to June, but sorry my "fellow" Gemini diver won't be there!

So, the show is this weekend. Anyone from SD going to be there?

I will be roaming the show with dive buddy Heather on Sat, but will stay to attend Sunday as well. Will spend some time in DiveNav's booth there to sign "autographs" (what's THAT all about?) and help them promote their new 3-D computer-based interactive tour of Catalina's Casino Point Dive Park.

Two of my videos will be showing Saturday. Dale Scheckler, who runs the show, stated in the Show Preview that one of them, "Munching in the Macrocystis" was one of the two "don't miss" videos in the film festival!

Karen (ScubaDawg) and I should be wandering around there on Saturday. Finally managing to get there this year!! Bill, where will your videos be showing? I don't see that listed in the seminar list. Will try to stop by DiveNav and say hi.

Anyone else going?

Rosa

Rosa, the continuous film festival plays on the huge screen on the main floor of the show. You can't miss it. I don't remember what times my two videos are playing, but they each play twice on Saturday.
