April 2007 Surprise Trip...Belize 4(21-28)!

Poll: FINAL VOTE for the April "Surprise" Trip April 21-28 (14 member(s) have cast votes)

Waiting has paid off! However the deals are so good that I have to get your input as I can not decide which way to go. Here is the scoop...we can get the Belize Nekton NOW for April 21-28 which works for SuperDave. Or we can get Habitat Curaçao for later in the month avoiding Easter. Pricing will be about the same for either destination if you take advantage of the special discounts and airfare stays approx $200 difference as it is now. So I need your help! Please vote again for the new dates for one of the options if you are seriously considering this trip:

Belize Nekton 7 days regularily $1795 but special first time EARLY BOOKING SD Discount Price is $1595 and the Active Duty Early Booking First Time SD Special Price is $1495 for April 21-28 plus port fees, fuel surcharge, local xfers, chamber fee, etc. of approx $195 for up to 5 dives a day. (Does not include air to BZE of approx $450-ish range.) (6 votes [42.86%])

Habitat Curacao 7 days after Easter priced about $1400 for land based all inclusive, 3 days 2 tank dives and unlimited shorediving pkg. (Does not include air to CUR of approx $625-ish range.) (3 votes [21.43%])

I have no preference...both trips sound great to me and I can dive basically anytime in April so I'd like to go either way!! (4 votes [28.57%])

Hey gang...I've gotten numerous pm's and emails from people saying Easter does not work with only a few saying Easter is perfect. And SuperDave while REALLY wanting to do Belize does not want to be away from him mom and family for Easter (for obvious reasons) and I do not want to add more stress to my mom and family being gone over Easter as it is an important holiday in our family too.

So...

I've contacted the Nekton and they have agreed to give us the same $1595 special first time booking pricing (instead of the normal $1795) and $1495 for our active Military members! :birthday:

or

We can still do the same pkg in Curacao any time in April except Easter week.

So please vote one last time so I can lock in this contract and start letting you all make travel plans!

Well the good news is the Continental airfare from EWR to BZE is half what it was over Easter, $508 :birthday:

What city does the boat leave from, BZE? Kamala, what you can do with airfare out of BOI to drop me in country about 3-4 days early for a little jungle running and casino busting? Maybe even a room in the Nekton associated hotel.
