I once asked a former gf if she believed in Horoscopes and she said she believed it only if it was good... :banghead:

I'm in the zero crowd. No value whatsoever, other than entertainment maybe.

While I don't believe in astrology, I did have my hand read by the Chinese wife of a friend. She doesn't know me very well, but her reading was pretty much right on.

It's a 10 for me. Would definitely (and have) ditched a short term relationship, after comparing anothers chart with mine. I say the newspaper horoscopes are pretty useless though, only good for entertainment value, or really, really vague generalizations. This interesting things come more to light when looking at all a persons signs, venus, mars, moon, etc., not just your sun sign shown in the newspapers. :D

IMHO, astrology only indicates tendencies, or influences, not absolutes. Nothing overrides freewill, and it doesn't take into account life experiences that develop a persons character or personality. *stepping down from my soap box* :birthday:

I would have to rate its entertainment value right up there with profesional wrestling. Of course I do still watch it once in awhile for a good laugh just as I'll read my horoscope in the paper. Can't say I put much stock in it though.

I give it a zero. It is not testable, repeatable, nor does it have any predictive ability. The "readings" are so vague and general that anyone can find things pertaining to their own lives in them.

It's like synchronicity. What greater meaning you derive from events is entirely up to you

I would NEVER consider ruling out a potential mate based on her astrological sign, just her hair color

The moon's cycle does determine a large part of how I live, but that's becase I have field work to do during spring tides.

Astrology, per se, I'll give as low a score as possible.

I rate it a 10. If she believes in it, I run away...

Go to 50 "professional" astrologers and you will get 50 different answers.

Interestingly, most of the older astrology was created before they knew all the planets.

Then there are all the different types, very confusing.

And everything they say can be applied to just about anybody.

Other than that I have no opinion... :D

I don't know... I just don't seem to get along with them. Of course I haven't dated one since 1965.
