AK, if you would have told us on the boat about your birthday, you too could have had a (birthday) dive to remember.
:)
Your loss!
:thankyou:

Mark,
You know I am just glad to be so helpful. :)

Looks like it will be a while before I return. Surgery is on the 15th so maybe around August I will be ready for Belize again unless I am deploying which is still in the air. Been looking at property though...

Roger that. I bought a book and I'm reading up on the related topics.
Between us we can end up with just enough knowledge to really screw things up.
Hope the surgery works out. Hit the P.T. hard! We are going to need that knee.

Glad to hear everyone had so much fun ... and I really wish I could have stayed another week with you. We saw many of the same things the week before, but no sharks. A few people found Toadfish, which apparently are pretty reclusive, and I even got a picture on the last dive of the trip.

I'm debating whether to go back to Belize in August or jump on the Nekton Pilot for the Northwest Bahamas. Belize has some wonderful diving even if you aren't on a liveaboard, but how can you beat 25+ dives in a week with such a great crew.

Oooh August has great options...we are looking for megladon teeth in the Cooper River as well as doing a Cozumel, Centoes and Whalesharks in Holbox Mexico tour! If you don't do Nekton consider going with us. If you do do Nekton as a booking agant with them I can get the trip cheaper for you and your frequent diver rewards still apply! :respect:

Hey Fellow Belize Divers!

My computer crashed when i got home from the trip, but now have it back and running at long last. :cool2: All this means is

1. I'm a happy camper

2. I have photos to share and added my file to Shafeen's photo FileSharing.

Please feel free to take a look and add your photos if you haven't yet. Mark you'll find my Barracuda shot there and many others teethy ones from that wicked session.

I'm planning my next trip and I think it is going to be a Galapagos one. Any recommendations? Peter Hughes looks good but costly. Also, it isn't too early to start thinking about a Fall trip. Idea? Maybe I will tag along with Mike and head to Hawaii. :flirt:

Dave how's your knee? I hope everyone's doing well, I am.

~K *who misses the fishes* :diver: :) :wakawaka:

Yes Karen, I caught the Chicken fish who took to me like a ramora. By they end of the trip I had a severe case of chicken paranoia.

My Bahamas trip is at the end of August. My mind couldn't stop churning in excited anticipation of just booking and confirming a dive trip. Last night I couldn't fall asleep due to my mind eagerly curing anticipating diving again. I just can't wait!

Thanks. I LOVED taking the shots of the barracuda and without a zoom lens! It was an unforgettable experience.
