Here is a wacky idea.

Any interest in a "Girls of SingleDivers.com" Calender...

We certainly have enough ladies of pin-up quality and thought I would float the idea. Now, as a man I thought women would be best, but I am sure the ladies would want to see pictures of guys... So lets open it up for comments...

This is a GREAT idea but we've looked at this before...and what we found is you need to do a 'beefcake diver' calendar if you want to drive more women to the sight and a 'cheesecake diver' calendar if you want to drive more men to the sight.

If we did wacky fish photos...you know pics of fish kissing....doing the wild thing and Bruce's pregnant jaw fish shot...THAT could be a winner!

Of course we could have a token male and female diver shot in the calendar... :cheerleader:

Any other ideas???

We have discussed this before, and i would be willing to work on it, will just need to get models for it and arrange for photo shoots and it can be done.

I know that i will be trying to do some photoshoots down here of a couple of ideas, but i need to explore the area and then recruit before shooting. any volunteers want to come down to Puerto Rico?

Someone said she was going to do this before but then she took our photos and left the board. I suspect there is a calender out there with our images on it!

Further, I void any right to privacy, (real or imagined), as it may, or may not relate to any posting, (real or imagined), about me, to me, for me, because of me, all about me, my dog, my cat, my bird, my monkey, my family, (real or imagined), my friends, (real or imagined), or my world, (real or imagined).

She was affliated with another website and reqested the pictures for a fund raiser she was helping with. I never heard if the calendar was published or not.

This project would be done via SD if we embarked on it! We have several members in the industry and/or close to it who have offered to help with getting it published. :cheerleader:

I tried to vote but got an error message. My vote was for pics of sealife. A suggestion would be pics taken by SD folk. A "pin-up" type calender, i.e. soft porn, is not something I would be particularly interested in.

according to wiki the traditional Pin up isnt SP like your saying, but the problem is that pin up is very broadly defined (and also has been called cheesecake) and what is pin up to one person isnt to another.

I havent shot any pin-ups but the ones that i have editted where of the classic style similar to the ones used as nose art on aircraft, or ones similar to ones seen in the late 30's on wiki. beyond that i have seen more skin on recent fashion images then any pin-ups in the past ie the big hoopla about A&F's black and white campaign 2 years ago.

Actually, I was not thinking naked women with a snake or anything (Apologies to Nastassja Kinski). Could be pics off a dive boat, Happy Hour stuff, anything. No people at all if that is the popular vote...

I should probably back-pedal a bit. After all, I do have a "pin-up" type of hat pin that I wear proudly. It was styled after WWII aircraft nose art.

The people and trips are what attract people to SD. The people are what make most stay. As such, I would like to see a calender that involved our members in member activities, including trips and all of the fun that is had. Some unique trip shots would also be appropriate.
