There's supposed to be a link on us.gov where you can check on it, but I never got a response.

Gee, big surprise there. LOL

BTW, I read in the paper a couple of days ago that the gov was transferring about 150 people from other depts. to work in the passport dept to help clear up the backlog.

Haven't forgotten about you Moose.

The gal that processes for us is on vacation until Monday. She has the info locked up as it also contains all the private info of the employees we've processed.

I'll get it for you first thing Monday morning.

I too mailed my in with the all the timeframes they suggested and got it back only 4 days before my travel plans. I have not heard of them causing anyone to miss a trip but they do ask for your travel plans and proof you are traveling. I sent them my airline reservations and that was sufficient.

However the next I renew I will certainly try for one of the offices that let you do it in a day and then just plan an SD event there to make the trip more worthwhile!

Alright, first we need a city that has such an office, then we need someone to step up and plan the next SD HH while waiting in that line... :diver:
