Birthdays are special...the more you have the longer you live!

Birthdays are badges of courage and honor...you earned them and are alive to tell about it!

And Birthdays are a rite of passage...they hold the secrets to our future and reveal the beauty of our past.

Yes Birthdays are truly special and sometimes when you are single you don't get to spend your birthday with that *someone special* that you may wish you could. So while not a substitute...your *special* friends at SingleDivers.com want to wish you a very wonderful and precious birthday...one that you will always remember and one that lights up your life for the next year to come!

So it is in this spirit that we take time to wish every member a happy birthday on our site. And yes sometimes the site is overflowing with birthday greetings...but WOW!!! Isn't that a lot of joy flowing thru our site...reaching out to members and making us all feel great when its our special day???

And sometimes, it seems we may be the only birthday greeting that someone may get. While its hard to believe it has happened. So reach out to your fellow divers...greet them on their special day...and enjoy the same outreach to yourself when your annual celebration of life comes around next!

Birthday greetings are nice. Last January as I scanned my GOLDS GYM membership card at the front desk the computer wished me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY vs have a nice workout. The employees behind the desk were surprised. It also reminded me that it was my Bday. It was so cool I scanned again on the way out!! Another 365 before I hopefully hear it again!!!

I agree with Stan, I think it's great. What's the big deal if there are 5 or 6 (or 20 for that matter) when you pull up new posts. If you don't want to read them, just skip them. It's obvious they are birthday posts, so it's not like you HAVE to open them.

My vote is keep them - at least until my birthday!
