Punky - A bad day of vacation always beats a good day at work.I'm on vacation and I'm not diving. This sucks! I'll never do it again.
Enjoy the time off and suck in the sea air. The time away from diving will make you appreciate it all the more. At least you get a buffet, casino, maid service and nightlife while the rest of us get reports, memorandum and phone calls from irate suppliers all day...

Why did you plan a vacation where you can't dive?
And since you're supposed to help recommend destinations to us, maybe you should have kept that info to yourself?
It was a trip with my girlie friends to celebrate our 50th birthdays! Not all of them were divers.
I didn't know recommending destinations was part of my job. So if it is, don't go on a cruise!

To be honest with you, I would have preferred to be back in the office, instead of wasting the vacation time.

Kind of like partying in a bad Nebraska Hotel bar, huh? I will never do one again either (unless it is a Windjammer cruise!).

Exactly!! Why didn't someone warn me? Everyone always talks about how wonderful they are. Yuck!

C'mon now Punk... if I know you and the gals, I know you're havin' a heckuva a time tearin' up the dance floor! Tell all the ladies I said "Hi!"
Yes we did tear up the dance floor some, but that only goes so far. You get tired of the bars and the casino after 5 days, and the entertainment wasn't that good. The time on shore was too short and rushed.

Yes, I agree the rest of the cruise was a bit boring after a few days, but on those non-dive days, I just laid out on our balcony, read a book and listened to music.
So I enjoyed the experience

Glad you survived the cruise, I think I would have a tough time with one also.

OK as someone who has limited vacation time available, THAT I can understand. To be honest with you, I would have preferred to be back in the office, instead of wasting the vacation time.
Sorry kiddo.
