Hey gang is it too early to start planning what to do for New Year's Eve 2009? The EV boat to the Bahamas was a sell out! Should we book it again for next year? Or should we find another option?

It's always tough for me to commit that far ahead, but, I definitely want to do a Bahamas Liveaboard at some point.

Also, what about liveaboards in Little Cayman (Bloody Bay Wall). I would definitely go for that.

Are you talking in general or for New Year's Eve 2008/2009?

I know I can't go what with work and all, but if it sold out that fast this year go ahead and book it again and go for it.

In general. The New Year could be nice too, but, I'm most interested in the diving.

I'd say if it helps to secure a good rate and people don't mind doing the same trip again, its probably a good idea.

As far as booking goes for next year, the two I am waiting for are Bonaire and Cozumel. Everything beyond that is wait and see.

Yes Yes Yes,

:cheerleader:

Since I missed out on this NYE trip, put me down for a definate for this 2008/2009 trip.

The only live aboard I've been on is the Fling/Spree, and have been told that the boats you use (EV) are a step up from the FG boat trips. Don't get me wrong I still love the people on the Fling/Spree.

What a neat way to cellabrate my b'day.

Yes the EV boats are great and they are very value based! So its your birthday eh??? :flirt:

My plan is to tentatively reserve the boat and if we have a blast then its a go for next year! You can't beat the price!

Hey everyone...I can get the EV boat for New Year's Eve for 2008/2009?

Now that we KNOW I can get the boat let me know your thoughts?

Advantages:

1. GREAT rates...can't beat the prices!
2. Lots of Diving
3. FREE Alcohol beer, wine and liquor, (great for the NYE party!)
4. Easy destination to get flights too
5. If we book now you can get early flights when rates are low

Disadvantages:

1. Its the same place we did for 2007/2008 New Year's
2. We can only take 18 people
3. It sold out VERY fast for 2007/2008

So what is your take on this?

So what is your take on this?

New Years Day is Thursday...
So, then I have the whole week off as holiday time.....
And, if I break the bar Wednesday night, I still had 4 full days of diving.......

:cheerleader:

you said GREAT rates???

:birthday:

my take... Checks in the mail :cheerleader:

Or would be as soon as you offer the trip... :birthday:
