Diving at Shark River Inlet

As we left I looked at L street to see if you were still there, I'm still carrying around one of your port plugs.
There is still plenty of air in the tanks so the plan is to try again next Saturday under the Point Pleasant Railroad bridge and maybe hit the seafood festival too.
By all that is wet, I do hereby swear, (politely), and attest, upon pain of never diving again, (real or imagined), that I understand and affirm, that I agree to the above.

I didn't see this thread until now!
Anyone up for a dive there on Friday?

Next time, let me know if you are going to do this dive!

Friday high tide in Shark River Inlet is not good, 10:16 am or 22:24, we're either late at night or early morning and you can't legally dive the inlet between dawn and 17:30 because of boat traffic. You could do L street though in the am but I'll be at work.

Then we floated into a whole bunch of jelly fish.
So how was the entry at your place?
We had a lot of jellys too. I started noticing them more towards the end of our dive, but, just kept dodging them.
The entry at the Marina (across from the Windmill Diner) couldn't be easier. You just walk off a sand beach down a gradual sloping sand bottom into chest height water and then swim off. It's basically a semi-protected swimming area. So, even if there is some current or mild wave action in the open river you're not going to get bothered much on your entry or exit.
I may be able to make a dive on Saturday. I'll know for sure by Wednesday.
When you make fish laugh, they can't bite you.

My Oceanic was showing 74, the Cochran 68 but I'm a WWW and was comfortable in a 3 mil after the intial shock.
