I KNOW how hard it is to pass this course and then to become proficient at it! But the journey has began and its a great one! We are all VERY proud of you! Once you get your paperwork in a row contact dive_girl and she will give you access to our diving pros forum! What is a Dive Con? I've heard the term a few times, but I have no idea what the roles and responsibilities are...

Through SSI a Dive Control Specialist (Dive Con) is a Dive Master/ Assistant instructor combined.

Through SSI a Dive Control Specialist (Dive Con) is a Dive Master/ Assistant instructor combined.
It's actually a play on words. If you compare the rolls/responsibilities/duties of a divemaster and a divecon you will see that their are very few differences in what each can and can't do.
