well , its been a while since my last relationship, after it ended, and after the wounds healed, i looked inside me and asked myself what my part was in it, where, if any, where did i go wrong??? as of to date, all i could think of is, i should never have given her my spare regulator, as i said, its been over for a while, AND I STILL MISS MY SPARE REG. LOL

Now here is a lesson i have learned a couple times or more over the years.
For the last 10 years i have traveled from Australia to Egypt. Taking anywhere from 2 to 4 trips a year. I pretty much travel single.
After getting back from Palau in March, I met a lady who is a diver. I was headed to Sipadan in September but I wanted to get a few more dives in before I went. So I took the BIG step i asked this lady if she wanted to go to Kona in July, as i love to dive with the Mantas. She did.
Here's the story. I flew her there First Class, stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, got the Convertible, Diving with Jacks and Big Island Divers, Did the Helicopter over the Volcanoes (got motion sickness almost the whole damm flight), dinners etc. Now this person was not the love of my life but i wanted to treat her nice. Do you think she even bought me a soda? Said thank you? NO! NO! NO!
And she even grabbed the stuffed Dolphin toy on the bed and put it on my BILL!
When we got back, I was very distant and after a couple of weeks she called and asked when I was going to take her out for Sushi. I told her what i thought. Basically you should of gone out of your way and at least bought a dinner or something to show some appreciation. Her reply was, I thought about that but did not know it was required!
So SD if I need a buddy for diving I'll join the group!
