man this trip sounds great I'm interested as well :cool1:

It will be an incredible trip, cause I'm going to be there!!!

This year I am definitely going to set something up so that those who are interested can do that zip line thingy. Last time I was there I didn't get a chance to do it do to time constraints, but I won't let that happen again. :teeth:

What Zip Line???

It's where you swing through the trees on a zip line and yell like Tarzan! (or Jane depending on your gender)
Roatan Canopy Tour & Zip Line

Sounds like fun. Incentive to try and do this trip.
Never say Never! Its almost as long a time as always!

I did the easiest Zip Line they had, last year, and it was a blast!!! Just myself and my dive buddy went that morning and they gave us each a guide. They took really good care of us and we had a ball!!! The guides also said they were about to have bunjee jumping available. That was last June. The zip line took us right to the beach and the park was being fixed up for tourists. It was really really nice. We stepped ahead of a large group going through and the whole group just had a few guides, not one for each person.

That's about the most I know. It was fun!!!!

Poor me I'm just an inexperienced air breather whose never been below 60ft and maybe 12 dives under my belt. I won't fit in with the nitrox crowd. Wonder if I could find a disabled vet to buddy with me? :cool1:

Sweetie you'll fit in PERFECTLY!!!

I will dive air with you if no one else is diving air! Or I'll dive nitrox and do your profiles! But I'm sure we'll have some other air divers only....just wait and see. Besides Roatan is PERFECT for newer divers! You should go on this one...

Working on the final details now!

Is the BIBR web site correct, it says they have only 15 rooms?

Actually they have access to more rooms but one of the reasons I have not finalized the details is because they are figuring out exactly how many spots we will have! kamala

It will be great...this is where we did the pig roast at last year. Cam and Ted are the owners and just awesome! -ww

Hopefully I can get a few dives in to get back into it like when I go to Hawaii next week. Noone dives so I'll have to hope someone there is buddyless. And all you Texans we can do the Flower Gardens. Then maybe I can get nitrox certified, I'm assuming you have to have more experience and a advanced diver cert? I'll ask my local dive shop.

Not true at all. Today all you need is a copy of the manual and a night at your local PADI shop to get Nitrox certified. One of my friends did it two nights after getting her OW dives out of the way.

You have to learn a new set of tables, and how to measure the O2 percentage in your tanks. No dives are required anymore.

I can make it real simple...lets go diving! We'll dive air and I'll help you in anyway you need.

Now pick your trip and let's start planning it! :cool1:

It really is as simple as that...oh yeah...and come to the Texas Dive Show so we can meet in person! :cheerleader:

Don't worry about it. We had two divers in Australia that had only done their OW certification at a resort course prior to the trip. So you have 3 times as many dives as they did!
