Trip Update:

I just spoke with Jimmy the Toyman who is the founder of the toys/school supplies donation program for underpriviledged kids in Honduras, Costa Rica, etc and he is going to partner with us on this trip.

We are ALREADY going to be taking school supplies for the orphanage :cheerleader:, doing the crab races (year before last we raised over $4000 for the island's kids and buying school books so they can better learn!) :cheerleader:

and now the partnership with ToysForTheChildren.org will enable us to touch even more kids and lend a bigger helping hand. I'm finalizing the details as we speak and will be accepting sign ups for this trip asap! If you live in the Dallas/Ft Worth area or the Houston area PLEASE let us know so we can send supplies already collected with you to the island! If we pool our weight limitations we can take extra donations already made for the kids with us.

And the other co-founder of the program is the resort owner's wife where we will be staying! :banghead:

Stay tuned for more details...

I will be happy to add you to the interested list! WW is still drying out from her water main break, so don't know when the final details will be available, but I will be sending an email out to everyone on the interested list once the details are available.

Hey can a Po Ole Dumb Okie get on the interested list ??? I looked at the pictures on Roatan's web site and this looks like it would be a lot of FUN !!! The channel is only 90ft deep and I have a 100ft garden hose , won't even need a regulator. :cool1: Could you tell me about what type of school supplies you take down there ? I haven't flown any where in a few years (been hung up on cruise ships) I found a direct out of Houston on Continental for $605.00 RT is that about the going price ?
Thanks Mark

Airfare from Boston to Roatan, 2006 $770.00 Labor day, 2007-$500.00 Labor Day both on Delta. Consider the cost of your gas you put in your auto last week! For $605.00 right now out of Boston I'd be buying. JMTCW.
