Hello my dear friends...

It is with a very sad heart that Jerry aka NCMasterDiver's father passed away yesterday. It was quite sudden and while he had been ill he was beating the odds. Please keep Jerry and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they enter this Holiday Season without a cornerstone member of their family.

Here is the Obituary

I cannot even imagine your loss, and it must be magnified during this season. I hope the fond memories of past holidays will bring you and your family some comfort during the next few days.
As for me, I'm feeling pretty scubalicious.

Very sorry to read the above. I too lost my father during the Holiday season, between Christmas and New Years.

If you need anything, send me a pm and I will do what I can...

I am sorry about your loss, and you will be in my thoughts this holiday season! It is very tough to lose a close family member this time of year. My father passed away at Thanksgiving 9 years ago, and that holiday has never been the same.

To all my dear diving buddies, friends and folks I have met along the way with SD.com:
Yesterday, Christmas eve, I buried my hero. Today, I sit here and remember the good times I shared with Dad over the years. I am greatly encouraged by the kind words expressed by several of you on this board.
Thank you for your care and concern for me and my family at this time in our lives. I look forward to personally thanking each of you on "the next dive trip" whenever we meet. Truly, the folks of SingleDivers.com are very special to me. The many friendships and memories of a lifetime help to fill the void I am experiencing this morning. So to each of you, Merry Christmas and may 2008 be a wonderful year to dive and dive and dive..... Thank you

Jerry
