I was wondering when would be the next DFW area happy hour?I would like to meet the rest of the lovely ladies in Texas that missed out this weekend at Athens. Any thoughts on this?


Ask and you shall receive...August 10th Happy Hour:

Aug 10th Londoner (Beltline and Midway Road in Addison just South of Beltline on the East side of Midway heading North on Midway!)

Well, not that you expected a reply from Hawaii, but...I think something is being planned for the 10th-12th of Aug. I put in a request a couple of weeks ago as I will be visiting from Hawaii that week.

Ok...I have been remiss in my happy hour functions...it is all planned but we no longer have a venue for it. The one we were using closed it doors or changed hands or something like that. Well we are scampering to have the new venue chosen today and Chris gave us some great suggestions including Duke's Roadhouse, The Londoner (has a great room for groups both inside as well as outside for us) or the Flying Saucer etc. Actually made a few more suggestions but beer was involved so I'm not sure the last venue or so.

The date was set for Tuesday Aug 10th at 6:30pm. FinGrabber who works in downtown Dallas will pick Alikat up from her hotel and drive her to the happy hour since she is visting us all the way from Hawaii!! I will drive AliKat back to her hotel after the event as I live in Dallas but FinGrabber lives in Arlington.

I'm secretly begging Amber aka ScubaHoney to help me get this HH back on track so we can resume our normally scheduled socializing and drinking with SD friends!! Woo Hoo!!! -ww

I have great news...Wenchs knees are still intact!
Ok...that's not really the news.

I am staying in Dallas for now! YAY! There are a few classes that I need to get through here before I can trasfer to A&M.

So, with that being said...I have officially taken over the happy hour reigns!

Wenchy-nice try..but you need angel backup..I have come to rescue you!

Well I think we'll have at least 15-20 people there if we get the word spread that we are having one and that AliKat is joining us!! That is so cool!!! Oh yes and all our NEW friends locally as well. But to come all the way from Hawaii to join us for a Happy Hour is pretty special!!! Ok ok....so she is coming for work and we are just throwing the Happy Hour around her visit....STILL its pretty special!!! -ww

OK. So the truth is out...Someone asked me why I was going to Dallas, and I told them I was going for a happy hour, but that I found a blood conference being held there so the military would pay for it!
