NOTE: This discussion was originally for 2009 but has now been modified for 2010....

Dates we are seriously looking at are May 22(24) to Jun 5-ish 2010. It will have 2 components...the land portion to see the pyamids and the diving portion on the liveaboard! So you'll be able to book each portion or the combo!

I am definately up for this trip and have marked my diary! I soooo miss the Red Sea. It really is amazing diving and viz. Most likley I will join you in Cairo a couple of days after you arrive - having looked at the Pyramids everyday for a year, I will give them a miss. But will come to Luxor with you

UPDATE:

The dates are fleshing out to be more like May 22- June 5th 2010 but still in the same time frame. We can have two choices on the diving itinerary...one is a bit cheaper so I'll put it out for a vote shortly!

And we'll allow you to just do the diving part...or just the land portion if you like! Its not a perfect split as the two parts together will be more than the combo of them together but I may bring a non-diver so will consider that option for others as well!

And Sheena...it would NOT be right if you did not join us!!!

However you plan it, I'm in for the whole shebang. Can't go that far and not do at least a little sightseeing! May/June works great for me.

Not a problem! At least, until the end of the dive trip when I'm on my 2nd or 3rd adult beverage, and can't pronounce Pheniox!
