To Any & All~

I have never been on a singles week before (yes, I'm a SW virgin  ), and while I'm guessing that all (or most) of us are there to dive, meet new people, make new friends, and have a great time - I was wondering :birthday: if anyone was interested in getting any additional knowledge that is directly related to diving? If so, what additional certifications would people be interested in? If there is enough interest in one or more specialities, depending on what is available while we're in Bonaire, maybe we can work out a SMOKIN' deal.

Personally, I've logged 110 dives and only done my AOW & EAN, but I'd eventually like to get my Rescue, DM, and Instructor - and I know there is a lot to learn between where I am and where I want to be. :birthday:

I'm posting this under the trip thread and the dive training thread, but please reply to the training thread:

Looking forward to getting warm & wet in Bonaire!

Best~

I did my AOW when in Belize last year; I want to continue to do a wide variety of dives first, but definitely will try to do Rescue training on an upcoming trip. In the meantime, I'll hopefully have a DM rent-a-buddy in Bonaire who can help me fine-tune things I need to work on.

Chris you are WISE to get some dives under your belt and work out some fine tuning BEFORE jumping to the next level. I know I wouldn't feel comfortable teaching someone something I wasn't extremely proficient at myself and I wouldn't want to learn from someone who was only 'one step ahead of me' either.

Hey J! Am I right in thinking you are asking which courses in addition to the ones we've listed in the Bonaire thread people might like to do? If there isn't much interest in the specialties, maybe we could switch some of the focus to Rescue, if that's what people want. Waiting to hear from you all.

If there is enough interest for rescue...I make a GREAT victim!!!

Something about being a previous near drowning victim gives me a LOT of realism when I'm a victim in a rescue class!

LOL, but you wear a wing + harness, don't you, WW? I'm sure you know that to remove gear from a victim wearing a harness setup, the correct procedure is to CUT IT OFF! Of course we don't want to "wreck" WreckWench's gear, now, do we? So we'll have to find a regular old BCD for her to wear, hehehe.
