Amadillo Palace: They make a kick-*ass pecan pie, and I am not even that big a fan of pecan pie.

Saturday is better for me as I have to leave for Denver Sunday evening. Anytime Saturday is okay with me.

That would be great if you could come early for the HH! We don't have as many volunteers for Sunday, so we could really use you that day, but Saturday will be a busy day also. So I'll say Sunday, but if Saturday works better for you that's fine too.

Sandy is right...we do need volunteers for Sunday usually more than Saturday but Saturday is the busiest day. And the volunteers are for both our both and the show.

I'll be setting up a special show discussion forum today so we can fine tune working assignments etc.

I know Kamala is setting up a forum for the show today but I thought I would add in some pointers that I think would help.

Last night, I worked an event that was at Reliant Stadium which is right next to Reliant Arena so when I got off work, I drove up Kirby Street to Hwy-59, passed by Armadillo Palace on the way there.

It is just over three miles from Reliant Park to the Armadillo Palace straight up Kirby. Also, it is only about 1/4-mile north of Bissonnet on the right as you drive north. You would be best-suited to look for the Goode Company Bar-B-Q sign on the right because you can easily miss the big Armadillio out front in the dark. You will turn right on the street between Goode Company and The Armadillo Palace.

If there is anything else, I will chime in.

Ok mark your calendars and start getting ready...SD will have our ANNUAL booth at this show and we would LOVE to see you there too! (Yes Texas if BIG enough for you ALL!) The show will be at the Reliant Center the old home of SeaSpace so its easy to find! And if you want to help with the show...we need to supply a certain number of volunteers to the show in order to get our discounted booth price! Plus SD will need a few peeps to help work in our booth!

p.s. These shows help us recruit new members which enables us to keep filling our trips and therefore keep existing. Please consider helping us to help build our club! AND DON'T FORGET TO TELL OTHERS TO COME TO THE SHOW!!!!


Note: Due to our large Texas membership base we don't need members to fly in to help with this show. We do however need more help with the PNW show, the NJ show, the new San Jose show, and the new DC show.

The After Show Happy Hour will be held at Armadillo's Palace on Kirby: Armadillo's Palace
