I will probably become known as the guy that suggests things with little advance notice......

I will be working at the Florida Dive Show at the South Florida Fairgrounds on Saturday, in West Palm Beach.

Anyone else going to be there that might want to go somewhere after closing?
I do not know that area well enough to suggest a location.

No worries...I hope you and several other SDer's can get together to support our group! We would of had a booth but the event organizer is even slower than SD in setting his calendar...but he and I are BOTH prepared for next year.

In the meantime...anyone else for joining up?

Alan... I didn't see you at the dive show. I was there on Saturday after diving Blue Heron Bridge. If I would have been caught up with the posts on SD, I would have known you were there. Next year...

Which shop? I didn't stop at too many dive shop tables... ForceE and Dixie Divers... that was about it. I talked to Pavan for a while... I see him about once/year at the dive show.

Hey Scuba Dad....Ralph from Jupiter...
How often do you dive Blue Heron? I have heard about it since moving from North Miami area but have not dove it. If you need a dive buddy, I would love to get educated on that dive site.

I just started a contract in Jupiter last week. If its an afternoon dive I could just leave 'early' and dive it on my way back south. But high tide is after dark this week.

This Sunday high tide is 09:42........ how does Sunday sound?

I was down there the last four weekends in a row. I might be there on Saturday. High tide is at 9:05. There's a group from ScubaBoard that will be there. My current plan is to hit the bridge in the morning, then dive on the Little Deeper in the afternoon... if they get enough people on the boat. If not, I'll be on the Little Deeper in the morning.

One way to see if I have any plans on going is to check my website... http://www.scuba-obsession.com I try to keep my dive calendar updated.

Great...Al....thanks for the info and I will keep tabs on your calandar. I am always looking to dive if it fits in my schedule. I work on Sundays 10-8PM and Monday thru Wednesday 1P to 11 P.

Thanksgiving dinner was 100% divers... :-)

I was told that high tide at Blue Heron bridge on Sunday will be 09:41. So if the ocean is too rough on Sunday, maybe we could go to Blue Heron

Right now I'm scheduled to dive on the Little Deeper on Saturday morning. They didn't have enough divers for the afternoon trip, so they put me on the morning boat. Give them a call and join us.... 561-436-5299 Tell them you're diving with me when you call... I'll be there with my two kids.... Seas are still predicted to be 2 or less on Saturday, but they're picking back up on Sunday... 2-4 and building in the afternoon...
