:D FYI: These are those easy to mount mask straps that don't tangle hair, don't roll up, don't break, and don't cause other problems. The backs come in a number of colors.

WreckWench tells me that she might be able to supply these with SingleDivers.com logo on the backs - at a reasonable price, but not in all the colors of the rainbow. Damn. :dltears:

:) I couldn't find the Poll option here, so just post will ya'? Which color would you prefer....?

Yellow back & Blue words for me!! :dontthinkso:

Ok here are the choices:

Print is White or Black only. (Unless we can get our t-shirt guy to print the full color logo on the backs but that may add too much cost and setup.)

We can choose three out of four Color options:

Black
Purple
Blue
Yellow

Here are the styles we can choose from: (I'd like to do one style at first and then add a second one later to save on inventory costs UNLESS everyone wants one style OR we gets lots of orders for them and then it wouldn't matter if we did two styles!)

SlapStrap Wrapper.jpg
Posted Image
Upgrade your existing rubber strap to one that won’t pull or tangle your hair. The unique Strap-Wrapper™ wraps around your existing mask strap. Two layers of 2.5mm neoprene with rubber on the inside prevents slipping or twisting.

Velcro SlapStrap Wrapper.jpg
Posted Image
Strap Wrapper with Velcro style opening along the bottom allows easy installation onto the existing rubber strap!

SlapStrap - Adjustable Velcro.jpg
Posted Image
The versatile strap! Outside Velcro® style attachment makes for easy adjustment above or below the water. The 5.0mm neoprene comes in several color options.

Logo or Print Options:

1. Full color SD logo (if the setup and cost is not too excessive)

Posted Image

2. Black or white mono-chromatic version of the logo above (may lose a lot in the translation)

3. Black or white block lettering that says:

SINGLEDIVERS.COM across the back only.

How about NOT black for a change?? It makes them easier to see if they are a bright color - like BLUE for instance :dontthinkso: (or even yellow)!

Darker colors: Black and Blue

I hope that helps. Thanks for the feedback so far....I'd like to get these on order soon if enough of you want them. A previous thread indicated that you all did. -ww

Really! Black is fine for tuxes, evening gowns, DIR people, etc., but I like to look like a Power Ranger when I swim. I like gear I can see in my bag, and which people can see in the water.

Thanks, kind lady!

Jennifer,

I agree, we need colors because lots of people like colorful gear. Sapphire blue is an excellent choice. OTOH, since we can have options, we might want to appeal to those diehards who only have black gear.

Would a diver who only wears black gear wear a black back with white lettering on it?

And WWrench, would these have the SD Logo, or the words...?

Slapstraps as I know them are velcro; you don't like 'em? I find them easier to adjust, then hold their place well. And they don't break like silicone.

Hey, WWrench, in addition to SStraps, could you get the slide on backs, that go over silcone straps? Too much to ask...?

but is the slapstrap the velcro kind, or the one with conventional silicone straps?
i'd rather have the straps

We can obtain the following styles:

1. Slide over existing strap (Requires taking the plastic strap off mask and sliding the slap strap over it. This is the kind I have and its lasted for years.)

2. Velcro slide strap (Does not require you to remove the mask's plastic strap and allows you to slip the strap over the mask strap by opening the velcro and then seal it in place by closing the velcro.)

3. Buckle slap strap (Requires you to get rid of the masks original mask strap and replace it with this one. This one is also the most expensive style.)

FYI...we need to order 50 of each style that we get. I'd prefer to only order one style as I can't imagine 75-100 people wanting slap straps...but maybe you'll all prove me wrong and order up LOTS of them!!

As for the logo....we can go with White or Black print which is what everyone does. I'm looking into having our full color logo printed on it as that would make them really different. In order for that to be cost effective we could only choose the first option of slap strap due to printing machine concerns.)

Choices choices choices...oh so many choices!!! Thanks gang!! -ww
