You know you're a scuba diver when..all your time off is calculated by where, who, and how many dives will be done.

I love the one about the hand gestures!!! My most frequent dive buddy and I spent a day on land, we were suddenly confused about a plan, and our communication was still hand gestures for direction!!!

Hang around me for long and I do this all the time anyways!!! :teeth:

How about when you automatically hold your nose to equalize your ears when you are on an aircraft......or
when you think about what's under a body of water as you pass over a bridge....or
you're flying above the clouds and think to yourself "now I've been above the clouds and below the water..and want to see more underwater stuff !! :birthday: :birthday: :teeth:

7) You watch an underwater action film and critique the way the star has their Octo rigged...

GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY - you don't want to watch the Cave with me...really, exploding DPVs, really!? Well I did make 6gill suffer through it with me - now he is hesitant to let me pick the movies...I wonder why? :birthday:

when you own more bathing suits than underwear, your dive gear takes up more space in your room than your clothes

GUILTY again! :teeth:

You know you're a scuba diver when....your gear never dries out!

You know you're a scuba diver when....you tell your students your gear is not brown, it's bronze and had to be special ordered in that color... :birthday:
It's Winter time - you know you're a diver when you're scraping ice off your windshield INSIDE your vehicle...!

You might be a scubadiver when.... When your job and diving overlap.

I brought a patient into a Level I ER on a ventilator, and a load of med drips and in the process of giving the handoff patient report you give Fi02/PP02, CNS exposure time, and OTU count and you get a dear in headlights "huh" look from the the Nurse, The Attending, a Fellow, 3 residents. The only one(s) that got everything was the Tech and the Respiratory therapist who after processing the info realize there is a big problem and the patient was about to have start having seizures.

...That and you have DAN sticker on your clipboard and your co-workers don't get it.

You're definitely a scuba diver when you get your IT guru into the office to fix something that you can't, and you start shooting the breeze about diving, and he calls in his associate to attend the impromptu bull session 'cuz he's close by and he's a diver too, and next thing you know 2.5 hours have gone by and the d@#&! computer still needs to be fixed.....

but you made a new friend with the associate and all agreed to swap our favorite uw pics!

This describes my afternoon today..... :D

Every IT Guru knows the mantra...

What about the one where you see a plane coming in low on approach over water and you wonder....

morbid I know, and the authorities would never let it stay down but the thought still pops into MY mind occasionally
