Mike,
I'm very sorry to hear about your sister. It sounds like she faced life and death in a positive manner, and fought the good fight.
You, your sister, and the rest of your family are in my prayers.

It's always sad to lose someone that you are close to. I think it is truly wonderful that your sister wants everyone to remember to Celebrate Life, and her life, and not her passing.

Pup,
Not much I can add to the beautiful sentiments preceeding me here. You have written a moving eulogy that celebrates a wonderful life. Clearly your sister was close to God, and is with Him now. Her thoughtful, selfless gestures and strength of spirit in her final days were no doubt a comfort and source of inspiration for loved ones in need of reassurance. In fact that same inspiration continues to touch and uplift others, such as those here who know and care about you.
May God continue to Bless you and your family as life now continues, loving and happy, just as she wished you to be.

As always my friends, your words of kindness and sincerity warm me to the depths of my soul. Thank you so much for your many thoughts and prayers. As several of you have mentioned, indeed her memory will live on in my music and hopefully continue to bless others as well. Fortunately, I did have the opportunity to write her one very special song before she passed called "Sister, I Love You", that has the voices of all her brothers and sisters telling her exactly that in the song. I recorded it and gave it to her when I had my last visit with her in late November, so she knew exactly how all of us felt. I've really got an amazing family... and thanks to all of you, amazing friends as well!
