Topics of the seminar will include:
- What is a rebreather?
- How does a rebreather work?
- What kind of dives can you do with a rebreather?
- What training is required to become a rebreather diver?
After the classroom session, there will be an optional in-water try-out of a Dive Rite Optima Closed Circuit Rebreather in a local swimming pool. If interested in the try-out, please bring suitable bathing attire, mask, fins and a towel. Although the pool will be heated to about 80F or so, a wetsuit is suggested. If you have a weight belt and weights for your wetsuit, please bring that with you to the pool. If a certified diver, please bring your certification card with you for the try-out session.
Space for the seminar and try-out is limited based upon registration order.
