Saturday, February 7, starting at 10:30AM, I will be holding a free seminar on the basics of closed circuit rebreathers at Ocean Safari Diving Adventures, 677 S.W. First Street, Miami, Florida.

Topics of the seminar will include:

  • What is a rebreather?
  • How does a rebreather work?
  • What kind of dives can you do with a rebreather?
  • What training is required to become a rebreather diver?
The seminar will take place at Ocean Safari Diving Adventures, 677 S.W. First Street, Miami, Florida. To register, please call 305.548.DIVE (3483) during business hours.

After the classroom session, there will be an optional in-water try-out of a Dive Rite Optima Closed Circuit Rebreather in a local swimming pool. If interested in the try-out, please bring suitable bathing attire, mask, fins and a towel. Although the pool will be heated to about 80F or so, a wetsuit is suggested. If you have a weight belt and weights for your wetsuit, please bring that with you to the pool. If a certified diver, please bring your certification card with you for the try-out session.

Space for the seminar and try-out is limited based upon registration order.
"The most important thing is not to stop questioning." Albert Einstein

"For the diligent diver, closed circuit rebreathers are actually safer than open circuit scuba." Tom Mount
